As we all know, Dell's XPS series (which is not known for extreme display systems) can provide a lot of design and display effects. In the usual XPS approach, the new XPS 13 takes the design to a new level. Dell calls it the world's smallest 13-inch laptop, a slim, lightweight laptop. It weighs 191 kilograms, has a battery life of about 19 hours (some FHD screen versions under certain conditions), and each word has a longer typeface.

This time, the new rose is gold: the top and the underside is golden aluminum and the sides are white. When you open it, you will see the white woven fiberglass palms comfortable. The black version of XPS uses black carbon fiber. Only a few braided (interlocking line) structures look smooth. It's also very powerful (no bends) and looks great - more than the average brushed aluminum in most high-end laptops.

Especially in the case of white woven fibers, this stain is resistant to corrosion - over time, yellow is brown, gray and resistant to contamination. Rose gold also has white borders around the screen - they show the Infiniti display more than the black border. It has a screen to body ratio of 80.7% and a bezel with a thickness of about 4 mm. They are too thin, and there is no space for webcam in traditional places. We also saw it in the old XPS 13. This is not the ideal place for a webcam, of course. Some people may even call it an unstable angle because it is looking at you directly on you. If you are calling/chat a lot of videos, then you need to consider them.

This time, the camera has passed Windows Hello authentication, which means there is also an infrared component. There seem to be two shots - a combination, they can only use your face to securely log in passwords. Looking ahead, the area's microphones (used to control room quotas) and the trackpad are large enough to be used for this size/device weight. It has excellent click action and a smooth glass surface. The keyboard provides positive movements and a good experience. And there are two levels of white backlighting.

On the left side of the laptop, you get the battery indicator: by pressing the button, the 5 LEDs will show the battery life balance at a glance. It has been used on XPS laptops for several years. In the case of a port, there are a lock slot on the left side and two USB Type C ports (one of which has a charging power flag). On the right is a 3.5mm audio output, display plug lug logo and another USB Type C with a Micro SD card reader.

Regarding the screen, you can choose between two versions: 1080p FHD is non-touch, and the high-end configuration (our test unit) has a 4K resolution display, in which the touch screen is squeezed in this small frame. The top cover is thin and has an effective function for 4K display and touch layers. Excellent screen quality, high viewing angle, high brightness, HDR capacity and pop music. The 4K screen is not only better than the FHD version in resolution - it is also very bright, it has 100% sRGB color, 1,500:1 contrast and 400-bit brightness.

In terms of performance, considering your power is too big for the faucet, especially the highest specification of 8 makes the Core i7 processor, 16 GB of RAM and a fast SSD storage. It's not just any work you set up, including photo/video editing, 3D, and games. The screen you choose will affect battery life. The 4k screen gives you about 9 to 11 hours of charging time. Dell claims that FHD screens can be used for 17 to 19 hours when used with / Excel.

For this price, there are no advanced components on the machine. A glorious example is Xing, which is just plain plastic. In contrast, the advanced Lenovo Yoga laptop looks like a 'banartworkrk. Xing also limits the screen to around 120 degrees. You can't put the screen flat on the table.

Some other highlights are the insulation on the laptop (this is the first notebook with the facility - an increase in cooling, indicating hot out) who wants, an auxiliary support (hardware test, optimization, and system information) and the speaker is very strong (especially For the size/weight machine).
